Title: The Splendid Splinter

Artist's Note:
Born and raised a Red Sox fan Ted Williams has to be my favorite pastime athlete. He did it all, on the field and off.

The drawing presented a unique challenge. I draw from left to right so I don't smudge my drawing, my concern/challenge was this; If I spend 70 plus hours working towards Ted's face and he ends up looking like Mickey Mantle I'll never be allowed in Fenway again! Nailing his features was VERY import to say the least.
